Last year, our Chapter received a grant from MADD Canada to place ads at the 3 Drive Test Centres in Toronto. This venue provides wide exposure of MADD’s message to new drivers, those transferring from out of province and drivers renewing commercial licences. The ads, which appear on two 45″ LED TV screens in each center, will be running for a year. Unfortunately, there was a 5 month delay in the start date due to an employees’ strike, but we are pleased to report that the ads are now running (Jan, 2010).
